About this product
This is a single XXIO Prime 12 8-iron, right-handed, with a regular flex graphite shaft (SP-1200, 44.5g weight). Length is 37 inches. Made in Japan.
Our take
I added this Prime 12 8-iron to round out my bag. The 44.5g shaft is quite light, which helps with swing speed but may feel too whippy for stronger players. The clubhead has a nice compact shape with a hint of game-improvement forgiveness. At 37 inches, length is standard. The price is $120, which is typical for a premium single iron. My only concern is the weight—if you're used to heavier shafts, you might spray shots. But for a smooth tempo, it works well. Good club overall, but try before you buy if possible.
