Our take
I've been a fan of XXIO's Prime series, and this Prime 11 9-iron doesn't disappoint. The SP-1100 shaft is a bit softer than the newer models, which I actually prefer for approach shots. The head feels forgiving on mis-hits, and the ball flight is consistent. Being a previous generation, it lacks some tech of Prime 12, but still performs well. The price is reasonable for a premium JDM single iron. No headcover, but I usually don't need one for irons. If you're looking for a quality 9-iron without buying a full set, this is a solid choice.
